Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a session?

Click the 'Book Now' button to book an appointment through our scheduling system. Available times will be shown there. If you are having a problem finding a time, please reach out to laurenblake.slp@gmail.com for scheduling support.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a doctor's referral to receive private services. Some insurance providers, however, may require a referral for reimbursement, so always check with your provider.

Will insurance cover your services?

Most insurance providers cover SLP services. We can direct bill to Blue Cross and can provide invoices for reimbursement for other providers.

How do I make a payment?

Payments can be made via our booking system with credit card, or we will accept payments by cash or e-transfer. Payments are required at the end of each session.

What are the costs of your services?

Session fees are as follows:

  • $120/hour session

  • $100/45 min session

  • $85/30 min session

Assessment fees may differ based on type/length of assessment and whether a formal report is required.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved for you, and a late cancellation or missed visit could have been filled by another client. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged for their missed session. We understand that emergencies, sickness, and weather happen—please reach out as soon as possible. Frequent cancellations may affect future scheduling.
